The company allows users to search, browse and book local home service providers, such as plumbers, roofers, painters, and house cleaners, on its website and is available in many cities around the country. Smartling was given the “FASTech Favorite” award at the Dow Jones VentureWire FASTech 50 Conference, which honors the fifty most innovative start-ups in the United States. Smarting, which offers cloud-based translation services, was chosen by the audience for this award. A well-deserved honor for a killer team and a solution that has made venrock.com multilingual :)

Imperva had a smokin’ hot debut on the NYSE, after pricing above the expected range. Venrock’s investment in the company, which provides data security software, was led by Ray Rothrock on 2003. Congratulations to the team!
